Vivek Varma
Vivek is a seasoned finance leader, consultant and an Executive Coach with over 32 years of experience in business finance, financial planning & analysis, ERP implementation, risk & compliance and change management. He is a founding member at CXO Emerge and has played a key role in Leadership coaching & development, ERP transformations, process optimization and setting up Global Capability Centres (GCCs).
In his last role with Thomson Reuters, Vivek led Finance Business Partnering teams, where he drove global business partnering for key business sub-segments and served as the Change Management Lead for a company-wide Finance Transformation Program. He also managed and mentored future finance leaders as a Project Manager and Coach for the Finance Leadership Development Program(FLDP).
Previously, Vivek held leadership positions at NatWest Group (Royal Bank of Scotland), Bank of America, Agilent Technologies, Whirlpool of India and Carrier Aircon. His expertise spans full lifecycle ERP implementations (including Financial Planning, Financial Control, Record to Report, Source to Pay, and Order to Cash), along with leading transformational projects and enhancing finance leadership capabilities within global organizations.
Vivek is a qualified Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India and holds a CA (Inter) qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He is also a certified Executive Coach from Symbiosis Coaching, USA and a Six Sigma Green Belt-trained professional. Vivek carries extensive experience in leadership coaching, development & training and facilitating leadership development & assessment workshops. He has also been a keynote speaker
on Effective Leadership skills and impactful behaviors.
